Photograph taken at 5RAR Lines Gallipoli Barracks, Holsworthy NSW on 20th April, 1966. It was taken just prior to the 5RAR farewell parade, the day before C Company (Company Headquarters, 7 Platoon and 9 Platoon) departed for the Republic of South Vietnam aboard the troopship, HMAS Sydney.

Postscript: On the 8th July 2006, a commemoration was held at the Town of Nannup Western Australia to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of "Titch" Tomas. Many members of Charlie Company attended.
