The Pig which Reconnaissance Platoon “rescued” from a village and installed as Recce Platoon mascot. It's sleeping outside the platoon commander's tent and you can still the stripes that were painted on him for our CO John 'Wingy' Warr to present to Lt Col Smith CO of 7RAR their Battalion mascot was the Pig (inset) upon their take over of our position and our return to Australia.
