The song, Cheap Charlie Cheap Charlie Song
(Written as early as 1965. Lyricist unknown).

Australian soldiers on leave gained a reputation with the bar girls as being more prudent with what they spent their money on. When one entered a bar he would be more often then not be swamped by a bevy of bar girls. In order to enjoy their company one had to buy them a 'Saigon Tea', purportedly containing Whisky and Coke but more often just good old cold tea. A refusal would find you sitting on your 'Pat Malone' (alone). For many Australian soldiers that was just fine.
