'Ready Reaction Force'  Nui Dat 1967

Members of 7 Platoon C Company 5RAR can be seen dressed in full battle order moving quickly towards waiting APCs in response to a request for assistance by another unit. It was standard operating procedure for the battalion on both tours, to have one of the rifle company's on stand-by to react to any given emergency. Thankfully the after action report taken from this event reported no casualties. This photograph was taken early in 1967.
