Members of 7 Platoon C Company mounting APCs reacting in support of another unit's request for assistance. One rifle company was always on stand by in the event of an emergency. Because the VC wore bush hats similar to those worn by the Australians, the Aussies would thread coloured ribbon through their hat loops as an identifier between friendly and foe.
